Our Story

Opened in April 2022, Quincy Hall is a high-energy neighborhood gathering place built for connection, celebration, and great nights out. Located just across the street from the legendary Carpool — the bar Geoff Dawson dawsonbars.com opened in 1995 that anchored the neighborhood for 25 years — Quincy Hall represents both a homecoming and a new chapter. When Carpool closed, Geoff saw an opportunity not to replicate the past, but to build something fresh for the next generation of Arlington regulars.

Geoff and his partner, Peter Bayne — the team behind Franklin Hall — believed Arlington was ready for a big, welcoming beer hall with the same spirit of community and fun. Quincy Hall delivers exactly that: long communal tables, a vibrant bar scene, big screens for game days, and an atmosphere that feels electric without ever losing its neighborhood soul. It’s a hub — the kind of place where friends gather, strangers become regulars, and every night has the potential to turn into a story. We’re proud to be part of bringing this space to life and thrilled to see it serving the Arlington community with energy, warmth, and plenty of good times.
